Creating your very own circuit with led lights is actually WAY more simple that you might think. Lets first start off with some materials you will need..
MATERIALS:
- copper tape
- led lights
- batteries
- scissors
- paper
and thats it! Simple enough yet??
1. To start off, get a sheet of paper and decide where exactly you want to put the circuit, you can even draw a diagram to figure out where exactly you want it to be. Next cut off a piece of the copper tape and put it over the lines on the diagram, or just place it however you want it. To make corners you can cut another strip of copper tape and put it down on the paper over lapping the last strip so that the circuit continues. If you are not wanting to make one circuit, an want to have more than one light, you can have two parallel copper tape lines, then have the ends of the LEDS connected to both the positive and negative sides of the copper wire.
2. Next attach the lights, make sure you connect the correct ends. The longer wire on the LED is the POSITIVE side, and the shorter is the NEGATIVE side. You can simply tap these down with normal tape as long as they are touching the copper wire (I usually just use copper wire to tape it down though).
3. Attach a battery. What I do, is I put a piece of copper tape of both side f the battery and connect them to the correct parts (positive or negative). Once they are connected the LEDS should light up!!
